3. Windows 10 - Managing Updates

4. Device Enrollment
In this module, we’ll teach you how to plan for co-management and we’ll discuss it’s benefits and prerequisites. You’ll discover Azure AD join, be introduced to Microsoft Intune, and be taught configuration policies for device enrollment. Finally, we’ll give you an overview of device inventory using Intune and how to create reports with Power BI, Microsoft Graph and Intune console.

5. Profile Configuration
We’ll take you deeper into Intune device profiles and demonstrate device profiles types and explore variations between profiles that are built-in or custom-built. You’ll learn how profiles are assigned to Azure AD groups and how Intune can be used to monitor profiles and devices. Finally, you’ll learn how Windows Analytics can be used to report on health and compliance.

6. Managing Applications
Here you’ll learn cloud-based and on-premise application management. We’ll show you how to use Intune to manage Office 365 ProPlus deployments. We’ll also teach you to manage apps on non-enrolled devices. Moving on we’ll show you to use Intune to track installed applications, licenses, and assigned apps, and demonstrate Enterprise Mode with Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge.

7. Authentication Management in Azure AD
In this module, the concept of a directory in the cloud using Azure AD will be introduced to you. You’ll learn how to synchronize Active Directory DS and Azure AD, and learn the differences and similarities between them. You’ll discover how Windows Hello for Business, as well as Azure AD Identity Protection and multi-factor authentication, are used to protect identities.

8. Device Access and Compliance Management
We’ll guide you through device security management. You’ll be shown how to access organizations' resources securely and we’ll demonstrate concepts like Always On VPN and remote connectivity in MS Windows. We’ll teach you creation and deployment compliance policies. You’ll learn how to utilize compliance policies for conditional access. Finally, we’ll show you how to monitor Intune enrolled devices.

9. Security Management
In the last module, we’ll teach you all about data protection. You’ll see Windows & Azure Information Protection, as well as various encryption technologies supported in MS Windows 10. We’ll round out the class by teaching you how Windows Defender and using functionalities like antivirus, firewall and Credential Guard can protect your organization.
